Artist in Residence at Joya: AiR, Sierra Maria, Spain

Artist in Residence.

An abandoned oat crop on the Sierra Maria.  The remnants of growth were broken and fruitless by October.  The ground that was cracked and hard in the heat of summer but was sticky with wet mud in the rain.  The barren landscape was exquisitely beautiful dusted with the white powder of limestone earth.
